自尊、受尊与尊他:民众尊严观的概念建构与量表编制

“Self-respect” “Being Respected” and “Respect for Others”:Concept Construction and Scale Preparation About the People’s Sense of Dignity

尊严作为人类极其重要的价值,长期以来获国际学界广泛的关注和研究,但从普通民众视角系统而准确地把握我国民众的尊严观念,分析其变迁机理,却一直未获令人满意的进展。其障碍,主要在于缺失有效而获公认的尊严观之概念建构与量表编制。基于系统性的概念梳理,尊严观乃是基于尊严价值的态度与行为取向,具有自尊、受尊和尊他三重维度。据此,结合中国情境、吸收国际学界的成果,编制了适用于中国民众的尊严观念量表,并对自尊和尊他两个维度进行科学检验,可为后续的研究提供重要参考和工具支持。

Dignity, as an extremely important value of human beings, has been widely concerned and studied by international academic circles for a long time, but it has not made satisfactory progress to systematically and accurately grasp the people’s sense of dignity and analyze its change mechanism from the perspective of ordinary people.The main obstacle lies in the lack of effective and recognized concept construction of dignity and scale preparation.Based on the systematic concept, this paper holds that the sense of dignity is an attitude and behavior orientation based on the value of dignity, which has three dimensions: self-respect, being respected and respect for others.Therefore, combined with the situation in China and absorbing the results of international academic circles, this paper compiles the sense of dignity scale suitable for Chinese people, and makes a scientific test on the two dimensions of self-respect and respect for others, which can provide important reference and tool support for further research.
