从用户视角探究任务类型对搭配习得的影响

Exploring the Effect of Task Types on Collocation Acquisition from the Perspective of Dictionary Users

摘要 探讨电子词典使用对英语学习者动名词搭配产出及记忆保持的影响。4组英语专业本科生使用手机词典,分别完成4种题型的英语动名词搭配任务,包括填空题、选择题、改错题和对译题,一周后检验搭配保持情况。研究数据显示,不同的任务类型会影响英语搭配的产出,选择题和改错题的效果优于填空题,不过在搭配保持方面4组成绩并无显著差异。 The study evaluated the extent to which digital dictionary use influenced L2 learners’ production and retention of English verb-noun collocations.Four groups of English majors were asked to use a mobile-phone dictionary to complete one of four verb-noun collocation tasks, i.e.,blank filling, verb selection, error correction and translation.One week later, the students were tested on collocation retention.The results of statistical analysis showed that different task types had an effect on collocation production with the verb-selection and the error-correction groups outperforming the blank-filling group.Yet when it comes to collocation retention, none of the tasks were found to be significantly superior over another.
