冷湖周边亚毫米波天文台址遴选踏勘进展

摘要 优质的亚毫米波天文台址可有效提升亚毫米波天文望远镜的观测性能。由于受地球大气水汽吸收强烈影响,亚毫米波天文台需具备高海拔、低温、低大气水汽含量等台址条件。依据卫星气象再分析数据,以及海西州冷湖周边高海拔的地势条件和干旱、寒冷气候条件,在青海省遴选出三个亚毫米波天文候选台址。文章主要介绍亚毫米波天文台址条件需求、台址遴选和踏勘以及现场考察结果。 An excellent submillimeter-wave astronomical site can effectively improve the performance of submillimeter-wave astronomical telescopes.Due to the strong influence of water vapor in the earth’s atmosphere,submillimeter-wave astronomical sites need the specific conditions such as high altitude,low temperature,and low precipitable water vapor.Based on satellite meteorological re-analysis data,as well as high-altitude topographical conditions and arid and cold climate conditions around Lenghu,Haixi state,three candidate sites for submillimeter-wave astronomy have been selected out.The requirements of submillimeter-wave astronomical sites,sites selection and survey,as well as the summary of on-site inspection results have been mainly introduced in this study.
