《曾泽霖志忞考》出版后作者仍发现有未尽人意之处,故需“补遗”:曾志忞的读音;新发现曾志忞所办中西音乐会的更多细节及后人对贫儿院乐队的评价;曾志忞的最终志向;未找到的曾志忞史料;贫儿院1913年罹难——被炮轰的深层原因以及基于新史料的感悟。
The addendum includes the following: pronunciation of Zen’s nick name Zhimin, more details newly found about concerts held by him for Chinese and Western music, later generation’s remarks concerning the orphanage’s band, Zen’s final ambitions, unfound historical materials about Zen, and the battered-down disaster of the orphanage in 1913 with deeper level causes as shown by newly found materials.
