基于时间拉伸色散傅里叶变换技术的孤子建立过程实验观测

摘要 在掺铒光纤激光器中,利用时间拉伸色散傅里叶变换技术实验观察了传统孤子和束缚态孤子的建立过程。通过非线性偏振旋转机制实现了飞秒被动锁模脉冲运转,实验结果显示,传统孤子的建立遵循如下过程:首先腔内产生大量随机脉冲,随后小脉冲被压制、主脉冲被有效压窄增强以形成光学孤子,接着快速的孤子自频移形成稳定的孤子运转。束缚态孤子则由单孤子劈裂形成两只孤子,且在运转过程中相互作用,表现为时域上的延迟变化。 We experimentally observed the buildup process of conventional and bound optical solitons via time stretched dispersive Fourier transform technique in two Erbium doped fiber lasers.The mode locking with femtosecond soliton opera-tion was realized by the nonlinear polarization rotation mechanism.The result shows that the random pulses generated firstly,then small pulses were reduced and the main pulse was narrowed and strengthened to form the optical soliton,steady soliton operation was realized after a rapid self-frequency-shifting.The bound soliton was formed as single soliton separation with time interval variation,and interact during operation,manifesting as a delay change in the time domain.
