In recent years,developing and utilizing indigenous tree species has been receiving more and more attention in China.Styrax odoratissima is a fine and versatile indigenous tree species worth vigorously developing and utilizing.It is important to give full play to its ornamental and economic values and promote the seedling propagation techniques.In this paper,a detailed introduction was made to the field and container seedling-raising techniques for the species with the aim to improve the quality and yield of the seedlings and meet the demands from landscape greening and ecological construction for featured and fine indigenous tree species inside and outside the province.
