Traditional Chinese medicine was once the mainstream medicine in China,and even affected many Asian countries such as Japan,North Korea and South Korea.However,in the modern times,with the progress of science and technology,western medicine has been developing rapidly,while traditional Chinese medicine has few advances.The completeness and independence of Chinese medicine system may be the reason for this case,for it can't establish connection with modern science.This traditional pattern,without doubt,is imposing restrictions on its development.We need to rebuild Chinese medicine main theories by combining based on the exact anatomical structure and physiology function and using the modern knowledge.Meanwhile,the core essence of syndrome differentiation of Chinese medicine philosophy must be retained.We have to research Chinese medicine theories and practice systematically according its own regulations.Only by endowing Chinese medicine with the characteristics of the times,it can be truly carried forward.innovations.
