The Current Status and Enlightenment of the Research Assessment at European Universities

文章根据欧洲大学协会开展的针对科研评价的调查,了解欧洲大学的科研评价方法现状与概貌,总结欧洲大学科研评价的特点,探讨科研评价改革方面的启示。我国大学的科研评价需要自上而下推动改革,扩大学术行为范围与领域,采取定性与定量相结合的综合评价方式。

Based on a report on research assessment released by European University Association,this paper provides an overview of the current research assessment at European universities and its characteristics, and probes into their lessons on reforming the research evaluation. Universities in China need to promote reforms from top to bottom, expand the range of academic activities, and conduct the comprehensive assessment using qualitative and quantitative measures.
