The control and protection system made at home for 1000 MW steam turbine which manufactured by Shanghai Turbine Plant for nuclear power plant is presented.The control demand and the control concept of 1000 MW steam turbine are illuminated.The complete turbine control and protection system with domestic brands of control system is built and tested.Test results verify that domestic system can meet the control and protection requirements of 1000 MW steam turbine manufactured by Shanghai Turbine Plant for nuclear power plant.The description can provide reference for the development of other types of steam turbine control and protection systems.
