This paper compares the contents of the 2009 and 2021 edition of GB 23350,Restricting over packaging of food and cosmetics,introduces the main changes of the 2021 edition of the standard:the terms,definitions,requirements and calculation methods of packaging porosity have been changed,the necessary space coefficients for detection and different commodities have been added.It then puts forward measures and suggestions to promote the implementation of the 2021 edition of the standard from the perspectives of publicity,implementation,supervision and implementation effect evaluation.
