A Study on Cultivating Heroic Spirit among College Students in the New Era

“中华民族是崇尚英雄、成就英雄、英雄辈出的民族,和平年代同样需要英雄情怀。”新时代培育英雄精神对大学生传承英雄文化、发扬英雄品质、践行英雄使命具有重要意义,但当前大学生英雄精神培育也面临着历史虚无主义的冲击、多元价值观的侵蚀、“恐英雄症”的消解、“偶像崇拜”的遮蔽等现实挑战。因此,亟须通过以理服人、以文化人、以行带人、以情感人、以法教人等路径提升大学生英雄精神培育的质量,促进大学生英雄精神培育落地、落实、落细。

“The Chinese nation is a nation that worships heroes,makes heroes and has numerous heroes in its history.In times of peace,heroism is also needed.”The cultivation of heroic spirit in the new era is of great significance for college students to inherit heroic culture,carry forward heroic qualities and practice heroic behavior.However,the current cultivation of heroic spirit among college students is confronted with such challenges as the impact of historical nihilism,the erosion of pluralistic values,the elimination of Herophobia,and the obscuring of idol worship.Therefore,it is urgent to meticulously promote and improve the quality of the cultivation of heroic spirit among college students by convincing them with reason,educating them with culture,guiding them with deeds,moving them with emotion,and teaching them to obey the laws.
