This paper introduces the necessity of supervision in the construction of road and bridge engineering, and points out that there are some problems in the supervision work such as personnel quality, management mechanism and industry competition, expounds the possible construction quality problems caused by ineffective supervision work, and emphasizes that the whole process supervision in road and bridge construction should strengthen supervision quality control through three stages: before construction, under construction and after completion, so as to ensure the quality of road and bridge construction meets the requirements.
