英语专业学士学位论文摘要的元话语特征研究

摘要 课题组基于Hyland提出的元话语框架模型,以某地方本科院校英语专业历届学士学位论文英文摘要为语料自建小型语料库,并以随机抽样的方式选取文学方向的50篇论文摘要作为研究对象,同时在CSSCI期刊《外国文学研究》近两年的文章中随机抽取50篇英文摘要建参照语料库进行元话语标记对比分析。研究发现学生在摘要写作中人际元话语的使用多于交互元话语;过渡标记和框架标记使用频率最高,模糊语使用率偏低,自指标记和承诺标记过度使用。 Based on the meta-discourse framework model proposed by Hyland,the study built a small corpus of English abstracts with all previous bachelor’s dissertations of English majors in a local undergraduate college as the corpus,and selected randomly 50 abstracts of dissertations in literature direction as the research object,as well as 50 English abstracts in the CSSCI journal Foreign Literature Research in the past two years.The abstracts were built for comparative analysis of meta-discourse markers with reference to the corpus.It was found that students used more interpersonal meta-discourse than interactive meta-discourse in abstract writing;transition markers and frame markers were used most frequently,hedges were used less frequently,and self-mentions marker and engagement markers were overused.
