Clinical Thinking of Chai Ruiji on No Symptom for the Syndrome Differentiation of Chronic Nephritis

For the clinical phenomenon of asymptomatic proteinuria or urine latent blood in chronic nephritis,traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)is often questioned that there is no symptom for the syndrome differentiation.With the long-term clinical practice,Chai Ruiji,a senior TCM doctor,has pointed out that there is no absolute asymptomatic case.This paper analyzes the causes of“symptomlessness”in six aspects and puts forward five methods in syndrome differentiation,which highlights the TCM clinical thinking greatly.In addition,the academic viewpoint of treating asymptomatic patients from deficiency has the important guiding significance and great clinical application value.
