The Ecological Outlook of the Communist Party of China and Its Development in Practice

中国共产党成立以来,在率领全国人民革命、建设、改革的过程中开展了丰富的生态文明建设实践活动,产生、形成并发展了中国共产党生态观。基于理论发展与实践探索历程,大致把中国共产党生态观的发展及实践分成四个不同历史时期:中国共产党生态观萌芽及实践探索(1921—1949)、中国共产党生态观初步形成与实践试验(1949—1978)、中国共产党生态观发展时期与实践推进(1978—2012)、中国共产党生态观走向成熟与实践发展(2012年至今)。新时代,党中央把生态文明建设纳入“五位一体”总体布局统筹推进,从思想理念到政策实践均实现了历史性转折和跨越性发展,美丽中国建设事业踏入崭新征程,中国特色社会主义生态文明理论迈上新高度。

Since its founding, the Communist Party of China(CPC) has carried out a wealth of practical activities of ecological civilization construction in the process of leading the nation in revolution, construction and reform, and has generated, formed and developed the ecological outlook of the CPC. Based on the course of theoretical development and practical exploration, the ecological outlook and practice of the CPC can be roughly divided into four different historical periods: the germination and practice exploration of the CPC ecological view(1921-1949), the preliminary formation and practice experiment of the CPC ecological view(1949-1978), the development and practice advancement of the CPC ecological view(1978-2012), the maturity and practice development of the CPC ecological view(2012 to the present). Since the beginning of the new era, the CPC Central Committee has integrated ecological progress into “the Five-sphere Integrated Plan”, achieving historic turning points and leap-forward development in terms of ideology and policy practice. The building of a beautiful China has embarked on a brand new journey, and the theory of ecological progress under socialism with Chinese characteristics has reached a new height.
