Key Theory or Conceptual Bandwagon : Rethinking Mediatization Theory

摘要 兴起于世纪之交的欧陆媒介化理论在国内学界引发的研究兴趣仅维持了短暂的时间。这个理论曾被视为媒介社会学和传播学研究的关键范式转向,却也被批评为是一个无差别的“概念潮流”。本文基于核心文献的梳理与细读,对媒介化理论进行学理思考,剖析该理论在概念设计、中层取向以及研究假设等方面存在的缺陷和不足,以期为传播学研究的媒介范式转向提供更多理论对话的空间。 The European Mediatization theory, which arose at the turn of the century, aroused only a short period of research interest in domestic academic circles. This theory has been regarded as a key paradigm shift in media sociology and communication studies, but it has also been criticized as an undifferentiated "conceptual bandwagon". Based on the review and careful reading of the core literatures, this paper makes a theoretical reflection on Mediatization theory,and analyzes the defects and deficiencies of the theory in the aspects of conceptual design, middle-level orientation and research assumption, in order to provide more theoretical dialogue space for the transformation of media paradigm in communication studies.
