Tranquility and Bustle Encountering Publicity at Traditional Jiangnan Gardens

第11届江苏省园博园城市展园是集中展示江苏13个城市园林典例及其艺术文化的区域,是园博园的核心区,在整体规划中被命名为“空中花园”。以“静谧”与“蜩沸”为关键词,讨论和回述当江南经典园林遇见公共性,是如何通过构想和控制、多元和秩序、边界和联系、平衡和通用而进行规划设计的,这也是对第11届江苏省园博园开放一周年的学术反思和总结以及对既往工作的一段纪念。

Known as "Sky Garden" in the general plan, the "Gardens of the City" in the 11Jiangsu Garden Expo collectively showcases the views of 13 representative gardens from 13 cities of Jiangsu Province as the central area of this Expo. This paper focuses on "tranquility" and "bustle" as two keywords to discuss and review how planning and design were made through pairs of concepts such as formulation and control, diversity and order, boundaries and connections, and balance and universality, offering academic reflections and summarizations for the first anniversary of the 11Jiangsu Hor ticultural Expo to commemorate the past work.
