红色旅游汉英平行语料库的构建与翻译应用研究

Study on the Construction and Translation Application of Chinese-English Parallel Corpus of Red Tourism

语料库翻译学对翻译研究的理论和方法提供了一种新思路。该研究收集整理了红色经典名著Red Star over China和The Unfinished Revolution in China,以及甘宁地区其他有关红色旅游的英汉双语文本,使用雪人CAT软件对齐英汉句子,构建了红色旅游汉英平行语料库,再利用平行语料库软件CUC_Paraconc V0.3的检索功能,通过语料检索、语内语际对比和译文重构等翻译手段,将其应用于红色旅游的人名地名、文化负载词、口号标语和句群等方面的翻译。实践证明,基于双语语料库的翻译节约了翻译时间,使得译文更加标准规范,更贴近目标语的表达习惯,有利于中国红色文化的传播。

Corpus-based translation study offers a new way of thinking about the theories and methods of translation studies.The research collectes and processes the red classics Red Star over China and The Unfinished Revoltion in China,as well as other English-Chinese bilingual texts about red tourism in Gansu-Ningxia region,and constructs a Chinese-English parallel corpus of red tourism using snowman CAT software to align English-Chinese sentences.By using the function of parallel corpus retrieval software CUC V0.3,the methods of corpus retrieval,intra-language comparison and translation reconstruction have been applied to the translation of names and places,culture-loaded words,slogans and sentence groups in red tourism,and it has been proved that the translation based on bilingual corpus can improve the efficiency of translation,ensure the consistency of terms and make the translation more standard,more close to the expression of the target language,which contributes to effectively spreading Chinese red culture.
