晚清西学东渐的译写选择及逻辑转向解读研究

A Study on the Choice of Translation and Writing and the Interpretation of Logical Turn of the Eastward Transmission of Western Sciences in the Late Qing Dynasty

晚清译写选择及其逻辑转向体现了特定历史境遇下翻译与社会文化系统的互动共生。在西学东渐的历程中,他者文化跃居为晚清译写的焦点。在经世致用、自强求富、变法图强等思想的陶染下,该时期的译写主题、知识体系等逐渐发生转向。译写文献来源也由以“西语”为主的个别国家转向多个国家,并在后期以转译“东语”书籍为主;译者角色在主导与被动的逆转中由“西译中述”转变为“中译剧增、西译失语”的格局。社会文化态度、社会意识形态以及社会功用取向是译介西学新知的内驱力和原动力。

The choice of translation and writing and its logical turn in the late Qing Dynasty reflected the interaction and symbiosis between translation and socio-cultural system under specific historical circumstances.In the course of the spread of the eastward transmission of Western sciences,the culture of others became the focus of translation and writing in the late Qing Dynasty.Under the influence of the thoughts of practical application,self-improvement and pursuit for wealth,and reform and improvement,in this period,the theme and knowledge system of translation and writing gradually changed in this period.The source of translation and writing literature also changed from individual countries in a predominantly“Western language”to many countries,and in later period,“oriental language”books were mainly translated;in the reversal of dominance and passivity,the role of the translator has changed from“Westerners interpreting and Chinese taking notes”to“rapid increase in Chinese translation and aphasia in Western translation”.Social and cultural attitude,social ideology and social function orientation are the internal driving force and motive force of translating new knowledge of Western learning.
