Development of Environment-Resistant Non-Contact Fiber Optic Connector

摘要 针对野战环境抗污染的要求,研制了系列耐环境非接触式光纤连接器。该类连接器采用标准直径φ1.8 mm自聚焦透镜,将单模光纤9μm的光斑直径扩大到400μm,远超出粉尘尺寸(0.2~20μm),确保连接器具有抗污染、连接稳定等特点。按照通用规范GJB 1919A—2009对该类连接器进行了机械寿命、温度冲击、水压和冰冻等试验验证,试验结果表明其不仅具有较高的抗污染水平,而且可承受2 000次插拔、在-45~70℃温度范围内工作、在1.85 m水深和冰冻环境下保持正常通信。该类连接器可满足野外多灰尘环境下重复插拔使用,实现野外通信和应急通信。 According to the requirements of anti-pollution in field environment, a series of environment-resistant non-contact fiber optic connectors are developed. In order to ensure that the connector has the characteristics of anti-pollution and stable connection, this kind of connector adopts standard diameter φ1.8 mm self-focusing lens, which expands the spot diameter of single-mode fiber form 9 μm to 400 μm(far beyond the dust size(0.2~20 μm)). According to the general specification GJB 1919 A—2009, the mechanical life, temperature impact, water-pressure & freezing and other tests of this kind of connector are verified. The test results show that it not only has a high anti-pollution level, but also can withstand 2 000 times of plugging, work in the temperature range of-45~70 ℃, and maintain normal communication in 1.85 m water-depth & freezing environment. This kind of connector can be used repeatedly in the dusty environment in the field to realize field communication and emergency communication.
