应用型英语《报刊阅读》课程中跨文化意识的渗透和思辨能力融合

作为英语专业的核心课程之一,报刊阅读以其特有的广泛性、真实性、实用性和趣味性等特点在提高学生阅读能力、扩大词汇量、丰富语言应用知识和积累写作素材等方面发挥着重要作用。在阅读英文报刊文章的过程中,不同的思想与文化在语言的背景下实现碰撞和融合,这不仅唤醒了学生的跨文化意识,提升了人文素养,还促进了不同文化间的交流和传播。应用型外语专业教师在教学过程中更应注重通过阅读和讲解,引导学生了解新闻的特点和新闻背后的国家意识形态、经济模式和价值理念,深度挖掘其文本背后的文化信息,不断培养和提高学生的跨文化意识、思辨能力和跨文化交际的能力。

As one of the core courses of English major,newspaper reading plays an important role in improving students’reading ability,expanding vocabulary,enriching language application knowledge and accumulating writing materials with its unique characteristics of universality,authenticity,practicability and interest.In the process of reading articles in English newspapers,different ideas and cultures collide and integrate in the background of language,which not only awakens students’cross-cultural consciousness and improves their humanistic quality,but also promotes the communication and communication between different cultures.Applied foreign language professional teachers in the teaching process should pay more attention to guiding students to understand the characteristics of the news and the national ideology,economic model and value concept behind news through reading and explaining,deeply mining the cultural information behind the text,so as to constantly cultivate and improve students’cross-cultural consciousness,critical thinking ability and the ability of cross-cultural communication.
