Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization thought answers the question that“why we are to build ecological civilization”by the historical view of“ecological prosperity leading to cultural prosperity”,which responds to realizing the sustainable development of the Chinese nation,meeting the growing needs of the people for a beautiful ecological environment,and creating a new era of socialist ecological civilization.It answers the question that“what kind of ecological civilization we are to build”by constructing the life community and the human community with a shared future,trying to realize the reconciliation and harmony between man and nature,between man and man.It answers the question that“how we are to build ecological civilization”by the green development view of“green mountains and clear water being equal to mountains of gold and silver”.The new ecological historical view,holistic values and green development view which represent the high uniform of logic and history,theory and practice,ideas and actions,strategy and tactics make an original contribution to Marxism.
