The evaluation of professional titles is a high-incidence area of academic misconduct.Scientific researchers,peer review experts and management personnel involved in the evaluation of professional titles in colleges and universities are all at a risk of academic misconduct.The root cause is the pursuit of maximizing personal interests economically,the alienation of scientific research evaluation system and professional title evaluation system institutionally,and the negative influence of human relationship culturally.To prevent academic misconduct in the evaluation of professional titles in colleges and universities,it is necessary to strengthen the education and publicity of scientific research integrity,sign academic integrity commitments and confidentiality commitments for professional title evaluation,fully implement the representative works evaluation system,formulate the treatment measures of academic misconduct for peer review experts and management personnel,and strictly implement the academic misconduct handling system.
