新时代党的民族工作呈现出新的特征,各民族群众交往交流交融更加频繁,维护国家统一和民族团结的任务日益繁重,民族地区还存在发展不平衡不充分等问题,做好新时代党的民族工作比以往任何时候都更加重要、更加紧迫,更加需要广大民族工作者牢记“国之大者”,紧紧抓住铸牢中华民族共同体意识这个新时代党的民族工作的“纲”,开拓进取、真抓实干,不断增强运用党的创新理论分析处理民族问题,准确把握新时代党的民族工作的历史方位和重要使命,增强做好民族工作的自觉性主动性坚定性,为推动民族工作高质量发展作出应有的贡献。

The party’s national work in the new era presents new characteristics.Interactions,exchanges and integration among ethnic groups have become more frequent,the task of safeguarding national unity and ethnic unity is increasingly onerous,and some problems such as unbalanced and inadequate development in ethnic minority areas still exist.It is more important and urgent than ever to do the Party’s ethnic work well in the new era,and is more necessary for ethnic workers to bear in mind“the greatness of the country”and firmly grasp the building of a sense of community of the Chinese nation as the“outline”of the Party’s ethnic work in the new era.Therefor,it has to forge ahead,work hard in strengthening the use of the party’s innovative theory to analyze and deal with ethnic issues,holding accurately the historical orientation and important mission of the party’s ethnic work in the new era,enhancing the self-consciousness,proactiveness and firmness of doing ethnic work well,and making due contribution for promoting the high quality development of ethnic work.
