《西藏王臣记》两种汉译本的意译比较

Free Translation Comparison of the Two Chinese Versions of《Deb-ther-dpyid-kyi-rgyal-mo’i-glu-dbyangs》

2001年民族出版社出版发行了《西藏王臣记》的两种汉译本,分别是郭和卿和刘立千两位先生的译本。这两种译本在语言表达和翻译方法上各具特色,都是基于历史文献的翻译,两种译本大量运用了意译的翻译方法。通过与历史文献的对比,发现两种译本在历史术语和词藻等方面存在误译和错译的问题。基于译本批评的角度,分析两种译本的错译原因,并尝试了正确的译法。

In 2001,Minzu Publishing House published two Chinese translations of The《Deb-therdpyid-kyi-rgyal-mo’i-glu-dbyangs》,namely by Guo Heqing and Liu Liqian.The two versions have their own characteristics in language expression and translation methods.Both versions are based on the translation of historical documents,and adopted lots of free translation methods.It is found that there are mistranslations in the two versions in terms of historical terminology and lexicon,through the comparison with historical documents.This paper analyzes from the perspective of translation criticism,the causes of mistranslation,and tries to find out the way of right translation.
