This paper analyzes the characteristics and design elements of visual communication design,summarizes the origin of Chinese traditional auspicious culture and the application of traditional auspicious patterns in ancient and modern people's life,and summarizes the typical cases of traditional auspicious culture applied in visual communication design.In order to make efforts for the integration of traditional auspicious culture into visual communication design and the development of Chinese excellent traditional culture.
