On the medical thoughts of LI Chan

李梴为明代著名儒医,秉持“气者生源,心为主宰”的生命观,“胞窍为太极,脐为根蒂”的生育观,“气机不谐,天人相感”的疾病观,“调和阴阳,养心为上”的治疗观与养生观。李梴认为生命由混合无间的元理元气流行天地之间而生成,此元理元气即是太极,为“心”,此太极、“心”具有本体的意义。在讨论人体时,他更侧重“气”,认为人禀“气”而生,疾病的发生与天地、人体之气机有关。同时,他强调“心”的主宰作用,认为养生除调和阴阳气机之外,犹要以养心为要。从生命观、生育观到疾病观、治疗观及养生观,“气”与“心”始终贯穿于李梴的医学思想之中,其理论具有逻辑上的一致性。

As the famous Confucian doctor in the Ming Dynasty,LI Chan had the life view of"Qi is the source of life;the heart is the master",the fertility view of"the orifice of uterus as the Tai Chi;the navel as the root",the sickness conception of"disharmony of the Qi activity,the interaction between nature and man",the treatment and health preservation view of"harmonizing Yin and Yang,cultivating the heart as the priority".LI Chan believed that life is generated by the intermixing of the Yuan Li Yuan Qi,which is the Tai Chi and the"heart"with ontological significance.When discussing the human body,he paid more attention to"Qi".He believed that people are born with Qi,and that the occurrence of diseases is related to the Qi mechanism of heaven and earth and the human body.At the same time,he emphasized the dominant role of"heart",and believed that in addition to harmonizing the Qi mechanism of Yin and Yang,health preservation should also focus on cultivating the heart.From the life view,the fertility view to the sickness conception,the treatment view and the health preservation view,"Qi"and"heart"have always run through LI Chan's medical thoughts,and their theories are logically consistent.
