Examples of Huang Xinyan with the Application of Chaihu Guizhi Ganjiang Decoction

柴胡桂枝干姜汤出自《伤寒杂病论》,因其疗效显著被历代医家广泛应用。黄新艳教授认为,柴胡桂枝干姜汤主症为神疲乏力、畏寒、口干、口苦、小便不利,辨证属肝胆郁热、脾肾虚寒之寒热错杂证。于临床应用时,随证加减,可获良效。

Chaihu Guizhi Ganjiang Decoction comes from Shang Han Za Bing Lun, and it has been widely used in various diseases by doctors of a lot of dynasties because of its remarkable efficacy. Professor Huang Xinyan believes that the prime symptoms of Chaihu Guizhi Ganjiang Decoction are mental fatigue, fatigue,aversion to cold, dry mouth and bitter taste in the mouth, and dysuria, and the syndrome differentiation should be simultaneous occurrence of the cold and heat syndromes, such as stagnation heat in the liver and gallbladder,and cold deficiency of the spleen and kidney. The addition and subtraction of Chaihu Guizhi Ganjiang Decoction can achieve good efficacy in clinical application.
