The Historical Logic of the Great Rejuvenation of the Chinese Nation

中国人民之所以经过百余年的奋斗能够把一个积弱积贫的国家发展成为一个社会主义现代化国家,根本原因就在于马克思主义与中国实际的有机结合。中国人民之所以会选择、坚持和发展马克思主义,从民族性的视角来看,就在于中华民族与马克思主义有一种内在的关联性:民族感性切合了马克思主义,民族理性选择了马克思主义,历史意识坚持了马克思主义,“唯实”品格发展了马克思主义。马克思主义和中华文化渊源不同、历史不同,但马克思主义和中华文化一相逢便相融相生。马克思主义与中华文化的契合过程展示了中华民族伟大复兴的历史逻辑。

The fundamental reason why the Chinese people were able to develop a weak and poor country into a socialist modern country after more than a hundred years of struggles lies in the organic combination of Marxism and China’s reality. Why did the Chinese people choose, adhere to and develop Marxism? From the perspective of ethnicity, that is the Chinese nation and Marxism have an internal correlation: national sensibility adapts to Marxism, national rationality chooses Marxism, historical consciousness adheres to Marxism, “realistic”character develops Marxism. Marxism and Chinese culture have different origins and different histories, but Marxism and Chinese national culture were born out of each other as soon as they met. The combination of Marxism and the Chinese nation shows the historical logic of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
