方弘静以德修齐的家训观及时代价值和现代转换

On Fang Hongjing’s Family Precept about Morality and Its Value of the Times and Modern Transformation

明朝徽州歙县诗人方弘静“以耆德重于海内”,在传承清白家风、敦守圣贤之理、汲取古今之经验的背景下,提出以“遵礼、敬慎、知耻”修身、以“明人伦、重俭廉、广治业”齐家、以“礼义廉耻、化民善俗”治国的以德修齐为核心内容的家训。家训中以正身率下、读书明理、慎择交友为修德之法。方弘静以德修齐家训观对建设崇德重德的当代家风具有重要价值,可以从治生与修德并进、勤俭与廉洁共生、身教与力行统一方面进行时代转化,赋予其时代语境与内涵,为新时代家庭道德教育提供历史依据。

Fang Hongjing,a poet in Shexian County,Huizhou in the Ming Dynasty,is reputable across the world for his high light on morality.Under the background of inheriting the clean family style,abiding by the principles of sages and learning from ancient and modern experiences,he put for‐ward the family precept with morality as the core:“respecting etiquettes,being discreet,and knowing shame”for self-cultivation;“understanding family ethics,emphasizing thrift and honesty,and governing business broadly”for the family;“governing the country with courtesy,righteousness,uprightness and‐shame,and educat ing people to cultivate good social customs”.In the family precept,in order to culti‐vate morality,one should be honest and straightforward,study hard to be sensible and be discreet in choosing friends.Fang Hongjing’s family precept with morality as the core is of great value to the con‐struction of the family style of advocating and valuing morality in a new era,which can be trans‐formed in the modern times from aspects of incorporating morality cultivation into livelihood-making,achieving thrift and honesty and unifying education and practice.It can be endowed with the context and connotation of the times,and provides a historical basis for family moral education in the new era.
