Daoqi Tongjing acupuncture is a technique used to treat five disorders in Yellow Emperor s Inner Canon.Professor ZHUANG refined Daoqi Tongjing acupuncture into the specific operation of‘determining Will and regulating Shen,slow insertion and withdrawal of needles,and fixing needle to guide Qi’.It is widely used in Bi syndrome,tremor syndrome,apoplexy,psychological disease and ENT with reinforcing and reducing techniques.The application of Daoqi Tongjing acupuncture emphasizes that acupuncture needs to achieve the effects of‘Qi reaching around needles’and‘Qi reaching affected area’.
