Objective To investigate the status of antidiabetic drug treatment and blood sugar control in patients with type 2 diabetes. Methods 80 patients with type 2 diabetes who were admitted to our hospital from January 2019 to January 2020 were selected as the study subjects, they were divided into reference group and study group according to the use of hypoglycemic drugs within 3 months, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with insulin, and the study group was treated with antidiabetic drugs, the blood glucose indexes, the rate of reaching the blood glucose standard and the incidence of hypoglycemia were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the levels of fasting plasma glucose(FPG),2 hour postprandial glucose(2 h PG)and glycosylated hemoglobin Alc(HbAlc)in both groups were lower than those before treatment, and the study group were lower than those of the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The blood glucose up-tostandard rate and the incidence of hypoglycemia in the study group were lower than those in the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical efficacy of oral antidiabetic drug treatment in patients with type 2 diabetes is better than that of insulin injection, which can effectively improve the rate of blood sugar compliance, and is less prone to hypoglycemia, which is worthy of clinical application.
