参与志愿服务能够提升公众的政府工作满意度吗?——基于CSS2019数据的实证分析

Can Volunteering Enhance Public's Government Work Satisfaction?Empirical Analysis Basedon CSS2019 Data

本文利用2019年“中国社会状况综合调查”数据,实证考察了参与志愿服务对于公众政府工作满意度的影响。研究发现:第一,志愿服务参与能够显著提升公众的政府工作满意度。由于使用了倾向值匹配方法,该结论一定程度上克服样本的选择性偏误,展示出志愿服务参与对于政府工作满意度影响的“净效应”。第二,社会资本是公众志愿服务参与对政府工作满意度之间的重要影响机制。本文认为,政府支持促进志愿服务的发展,扩大公众志愿服务参与,对于提升公众的社会资本水平、改善政府公共服务绩效、建设人民满意的政府具有重要意义。

Using data from the 2019"China Social Survey",this paper analyzes the impact of voluntary service participation on public's government work satisfaction.The study found that:First,voluntary service participation can significantly improve the public's government work satisfaction.Due to the use of the PSM method,this conclusion overcomes the selection bias of the sample to a certain extent,and shows the"net effect"of voluntary service participation on government work satisfaction;second,social capital is an important influence mechanism between voluntary service participation and government work satisfaction.This paper argues that government support to promote the development of voluntary services and expand public participation in voluntary services is of great significance for enhancing the level of public social capital,improving the performance of government public services,and building a government that people are satisfied with.
