Shanghai School and Civil Genes

文章提出,城市文明基因的迭代存在着横向交合和纵向延伸的必然规律。作者以上海学派在物质、学者、文明基因上的特征及其形成发展衍生的现象为例,诠释本底的江南文化、南北各地传统文化、西方现代文化等多元基因的横向交合创新,以及基因逐步提取成为纵向隐形延伸机制在上海城市文明发展中起到的密码作用,从而看清上海学派横向多元基因交合的诞生原因,看清上海学派延伸发展中基因提取延伸与现象衍生的迭代机制及其作用后果,以期在城市文明基因纵传横合的横纵双向生命过程中保持一种符合创新规律的健康态,阐述城市文明基因诞生、成长、发育、迭代和创新的基本规律。

This article proposes that the iteration of urban civilization genes follows the inevitable law of horizontal convergence and vertical extension.The characteristics of the emergence,development,and proliferation of the Shanghai School,in terms of its physical representatives,scholars and civil genes,are taken as the examples to explain the phenomenon.The article interprets the horizontal integration and innovation of diverse civil genes such the culture of riverand-lake regions in southern China,traditional cultures in the north and the south,and modern Western cultures,as well as how the civil genes are gradually extracted and developed into a vertical,invisible extension mechanism,which functions as civil codes in the development of Shanghai’s urban civilization.It illustrates the reasons for the birth of the Shanghai School from the perspective of horizontal integration of multiple genes,the course of extraction and iteration of civil genes in the process of the development of the Shanghai School,and the functions and impacts of the genetic integration and iterations.Further,the article explains the basic laws of the birth,growth,development,iteration,and innovation of civil genes in order to discover a way for civil genes to maintain a healthy state in line with the innovation laws of horizontal integration and vertical extension in the whole life cycles of cities.
