Integration of modern history of drug development into the course of pharmacology

摘要 药理学是药学本科生必修的主干专业课程,涉及的知识点体量大且逻辑性差,学习和教学难度大。根据药理学知识的特点以及故事性内容在学习中的固有优势,文章通过探讨和介绍引入近代药物发展史到课堂教学方法以提高药理学教学质量,包括融入近代药物发展史,为各类药物置入时间的维度以更好地梳理知识;分别简明介绍重点药物的发现开发史以及给一些代表性药物打上历史特征的标签,使药物特征鲜明,便于理解和记忆。经抽样调查,该教学方法可以显著提高学生的药理学学习效果,并且还具有思政教育效果。 Pharmacology is a compulsory professional course for undergraduate students of pharmacy with a large number of knowledge points and poor logic, which poses challenges in learning and teaching. Given the characteristics of pharmacology and the advantages of storytelling in learning, the author explores integrating the history of modern drug development into classroom teaching of Pharmacology, and two major strategies are(1) adding the dimension of time to the teaching content of various drugs to facilitate sorting out knowledge points;(2) providing a brief introduction to the discovery and development history of key drugs and labeling typical drugs with historical characteristics to highlight the features of various drugs for the sake of easy understanding and memorization. A sampling survey showed that this teaching method can significantly improve the students’ performance, and the ideological and political education can be carried out implicitly.
