Objective:To explore the preventive effects of high-quality nursing intervention on catheter-related infections in patients with lung cancer who have undergone peripherally inserted central catheterization(PICC).Methods:A total of 100 patients with lung cancer who received PICC from January 2019 to January 2021 in the Chenzhou First People's Hospital of Hunan Province were selected. They were randomly divided into groups using the digital table extraction method.Among them,50 cases in the observation group were given high-quality nursing intervention program, and 50 cases in the control group were given routine nursing intervention program. The application effects of the two groups were compared. Results:After nursing, the psychological stress response score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of health knowledge and self-care skills in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The catheter infection rate in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of high-quality nursing intervention model for lung cancer patients undergoing PICC can reduce the degree of patients'stress response, enhance self-care management ability, and prevent catheter-related infection rate.
