Objective To explore the clinical effect of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of infertility patients with ovulation disorder. Methods A total of 62 patients with small ovulatory infertility admitted to Pingdingshan Institute of Family Planning Science and Technology from February 2020 to December 2021 were enrolled. The clinical data of the subjects were retrospectively analyzed and divided into control group and experimental group according to different treatment methods, with 31 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional western medicine, while the experimental group was treated with ovulation decoction on the basis of western medicine. The two groups were treated for 3 months. The differences of TCM syndrome score, ovarian function and luteal function before and after treatment were compared, and the efficacy and safety of the two groups were evaluated. Results There was no significant difference in TCM syndrome scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment, the TCM syndrome scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the TCM syndrome score of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in ovarian function indexes between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment, the ovarian function indexes of the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the ovarian function indexes of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the indexes of luteal function between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment, two groups of testosterone, luteinizing hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone levels lower than before treatment, estradiol levels higher than the group before the treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the experimental group after treatment, luteinizing hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone testosterone levels lower than the control group, the estradiol levels higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The effective rate of the experimental group(93.55%)was higher than that of the control group(74.19%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in experimental group(12.90%)was lower than that in control group(38.71%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine has high safety and effectiveness in the treatment of infertility patients with ovulation disorder. It can improve the clinical symptoms of patients and regulate the ovarian function and luteal function of the body at the same time.
