文明城市评选与生产性服务业发展——来自地级市的准自然实验证据

Civilized cities election and development of producer services——Quasi-natural experimental evidence from prefecture-level cities

构建“双循环”新发展格局,生产性服务业是国内国际循环战略衔接的着力点。文章利用2005~2017年268个地级市的面板数据,研究文明城市评选对生产性服务业发展的影响及作用机制。实证结果表明,创文活动能显著提升城市生产性服务业占比,这种促进效应有两年的滞后期,该结论较为稳健。细分行业异质性检验证明创文活动提升了房地产业、商务租赁业和科研技术服务业占比,且对生产性服务业细分行业有显著的就业促进效应。

Constructing the new development pattern of “dual circulation”,producer service industry is the focus of connecting the domestic and international dual circulation strategy.This paper uses the panel data of 268 prefecture-level cities from 2005 to 2017,researching the promotion effect and mechanism of civilized city election on the development of producer service industry.The empirical results show that establishing civilized city can significantly increase the proportion of city producer services, and this facilitation effect has a 2-year lag period, and the conclusion is relatively stable.Further subdivision industry heterogeneity test proves that the election activities of civilized cities have increased the proportion of real estate industry, business leasing industry and scientific research technology service industry, and has significant employment-promoting effect on the subdivision of producer service industry.
