Senile functional constipation is one of the common gastrointestinal diseases.It refers to functional bowel disorders lacking organic diseases,structural abnormalities and metabolic disorders.Clinically,it is characterized by obstructive constipation,dry feces,prolonged or not prolonged defecation time but difficulty in defecation.Professor Lin Aizhen often uses the method of“increasing water and running boat”to treat body fluid deficiency constipation during clinical treatment,and the effect is remarkable.Now the diagnosis and treatment experience is introduced as follows,and typical cases are attached for reference.
