浅谈“员”字

On the Word"员"

“员”由表圆形的名词,因为字形的变化,虚化为表物数的名词,然后再进一步虚化为量词,到现在成了表示某类人的类词缀,这一过程是“员”不断语法化的过程。该文分两部分,第一部分对“员”的演变过程进行一个简单梳理;第二部分考察了现代汉语中“员”的使用情况,重点探讨“一员”的词性问题和类词缀“员”的特点。

Due to the change of shape,"员"was transformed from a circular noun into a noun representing the number of objects,and then further transformed into a quantifier.Until now,it has become a kind of affixes representing a certain kind of people.This process is the continuous grammaticalization of"员".This paper is divided into two parts:The first part simply combs the evolution of"员",and the second part examines the usage of"员"in modern Chinese,focusing on the part of speech of"一员"and the characteristics of the suffix"员".
