翻译目的论视角下南昌市民公园赣文化长廊英文旅游解说的问题与对策

Problems and Countermeasures of English Tourism Interpretation of Gan Cultural Corridor in Ganjiang Park from the Perspective of Skopos Theory

南昌市民公园赣文化长廊作为赣鄱人文文化传播的示范点,其英文解说牌的正确性、清楚性、完整性、艺术性对于赣文化的国际传播无疑十分重要。在对赣文化长廊的英文解说牌进行了大量的实地调研后,基于翻译目的论这一理论基础,发现其翻译存在着意蕴欠缺,目的性难达;盲目直译,忠实性欠佳和拼写错误,连贯性不够三大问题。这些问题可以从注重意蕴的传达,提高翻译目的达成度,合理使用直译,增强译文对原文的忠实度以及校正翻译拼写错误,提升译文的连贯性三个方面来解决。该研究旨在引起相关管理部门的重视,并为其纠正当前的翻译错误、提升译文质量提供一定的参考,也为国内其他类似文化景观解说英译质量的提高提供一定的借鉴。

As a demonstration point for the transmission of Gan(Jiangxi) culture, the correctness, clarity, integrity and artistry of the English interpretation board in the Gan Cultural Corridor of Ganjiang Park is undoubtedly very important for the international transmission of Gan culture. Based on the skopos theory, this paper makes a lot of field research on the English interpretation boards in the Gan Cultural Corridor, and finds that there are three major problems in translation: lack of meaning, difficulty in achieving purpose;blind literal translation, poor fidelity;spelling mistakes and insufficient coherence. These problems can be solved from three aspects: paying attention to the conveying of meaning to improve the achievement of translation purpose;rationally using literal translation to enhance the fidelity of translation to the original text;correcting spelling errors to improve the coherence of translation. This study aims to arouse the attention of relevant management departments, and provide some reference for them to correct the current translation errors and improve the quality of translation, as well as for the improvement of the quality of translation of other similar cultural landscape interpretation in China.
