The study briefly introduces the basic contents of the concept and characteristics of red culture and the three-wide education system, and analyzes the importance of red culture into the three-wide education system of colleges and universities. On this basis, it puts forward the value dimension of red culture integrating into the three-wide education system of colleges and universities, that is, the dimension of guiding value, the dimension of cohesion value,and the dimension of education value, and finally, the practical dimension of red culture integration into the three-wide education system is proposed, including the construction of the red culture full participation in the education mode, the formation of the whole process of red culture education mechanism, and creating an all-round education system for red culture. It aims to give full play to the educational value of red culture, and use red culture to improve the maturity of the three-wide education system of colleges and universities, in order to provide assistance for the implementation of the educational goal of fostering virtue.
