Basic Strategies for Strengthening China-ASEAN Cultural Exchanges and Coorperation in the New Era

在新的历史时期,中国—东盟命运共同体建设过程中要注重加强中国与东盟之间的文化交流合作,积极发挥文化在国际合作中的作用。一方面,中国与东盟应积极发挥政府、非政府组织、民众、华人华侨、跨境民族、教育在文化交流合作中的作用;另一方面,中国与东盟应进一步挖掘和拓展文化交流合作的内容,以利用文化交流合作,增进中国与东盟各国人民的相互了解和深厚友谊。

In the new era,we should pay attention to strengthening the cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and ASEAN and actively play the boosting role of culture in the process of building China-ASEAN community of shared future.On the one hand,China and ASEAN should give full play to the roles of governments,nongovernmental organizations,people,overseas Chinese,cross-border ethnic groups and education in cultural exchanges and cooperation;on the other hand,China and ASEAN should further explore and expand the contents of cultural exchange and cooperation,to enhance mutual understanding and profound friendship between the people of China and ASEAN countries through cultural exchanges and cooperation.
