Multimodal Analysis of Conflict Talk Between Elderly Parents and Their Children

冲突性话语是人际交往中一种普遍存在的语言现象,对人们的交际互动有着至关重要的影响。该研究以电视剧《都挺好》为语料来源,定量分析各模态分布情况,并以话轮转换理论和多模态会话分析为理论框架定性分析各模态对话轮分配的影响,以期为构建良好的家庭语言氛围及和谐的亲子关系提供参考。

Conflict talk is a common linguistic phenomenon in interpersonal communications. It is essential to people’s daily interactions. The data come from a Chinese popular television series All Is Well. The quantitative approach is adopted to analyze the distribution of conflict talk. The influence of the distribution of modal dialogue to turn-taking is qualitatively analyzed within the theoretical framework of turn-taking conversion theory and multimodal conversation analysis, in order to provide reference for building a good family language atmosphere and a harmonious parent-child relationship.
