营商环境、产业多样化与区域经济复杂度——基于创新效率视角

Business Environment, Industrial Diversification and Regional Economic Complexity——From the Perspective of Innovation Efficiency

基于2008-2019年30个省份^(①)的面板数据,采用熵值法、SYS-GMM模型和门槛效应模型等方法,探究营商环境与区域经济复杂度之间的关系。实证分析结果显示:基准回归结果表明,营商环境和产业多样化对区域经济复杂度存在显著的正向影响;异质性检验发现,营商环境和产业多样化对区域经济复杂度的影响存在显著的地区异质性,核心变量对东部地区经济复杂度的影响最强,西部最弱;营商环境和产业多样化对区域经济复杂度存在非线性影响,在不同的创新效率水平下存在差异,随着地区创新效率的提升,营商环境和产业多样化对区域经济复杂度的回归系数呈现出逐步增强的态势。

Based on the panel data of 30 provinces from 2008 to 2019,this paper uses entropy method, SYS-GMM model and threshold effect model to explore the relationship between business environment and regional economic complexity.Empirical results show that, firstly the benchmark regression results show that business environment and industrial diversification have a significant positive impact on regional economic complexity.Secondly, the heterogeneity test shows that there is significant regional heterogeneity in the impact of business environment and industrial diversification on regional economic complexity.The core variables have the strongest impact on regional economic complexity in the East and the weakest in the West.Thirdly, the business environment and industrial diversification have nonlinear effects on regional economic complexity, and there are differences under different levels of innovation efficiency.With the improvement of regional innovation efficiency, the regression coefficient of business environment and industrial diversification on regional economic complexity shows a gradually increasing trend.
