Application of cell culture in research of human coronaviruses

细胞培养是病毒学研究中必不可少的重要工具和手段,主要分为动物细胞培养、植物细胞培养和微生物细胞培养三大类,在病毒学、肿瘤学、药物化学等方面具有广泛的应用。冠状病毒是一类在自然界中广泛存在的病毒,可导致人和动物的呼吸道、消化道和神经系统相关疾病。本文就动物细胞培养技术在人冠状病毒分离、培养和疫苗开发方面的研究做了综述,重点关注新冠病毒的相关进展。

Cell culture is an essential and important tool and method for the experimental study of virology,including animal cell culture,plant cell culture and microorganism cell culture. It has been widely used in virology,oncology,pharmaceutical chemistry and other fields. Coronavirus is a type of virus that widely exists in nature and can cause respiratory tract,digestive tract and nervous system diseases in humans and animals. In this paper,the research progress of animal cell culture technology in separation and culture of human coronavirus,and the development of vaccine were reviewed. The focus is on the development of virus isolation and vaccine development for SARS-CoV-2.
