无地突围——论李佩甫《生命册》的精神困境

Groundless Breakthrough:On the Spiritual Dilemma of Life Book by Li Peifu

李佩甫的《生命册》以一个从乡村走入城市的孤儿“我”的视角,通过描写平原乡村文化对个体独立性的精神侵蚀以及“突围者”的多种路径与心路历程,勾勒出中国平原乡村的生存氛围和人的复杂面相,在回眸中窥见城镇化进程中人所面临的精神困境:即个体精神自由舒展之境的无处寻觅。通过个体精神的突围历程形象地表明,乡村固然是精神困境的存在地,但城市也非精神自由的舒展之地,突围的结果是无地突围。小说以之呈现出城镇化过程中,现代思想生长所需空间的缺失与构建之难。

Life Book by Lipeifu,from the perspective of an orphan"I"who entered the city from the countryside,depicts the spiritual erosion of individual independence by the plain rural culture and the various paths and mental processes of"breakouts",outlines the living atmosphere and the complex face of people in plain rural China,and peeks back at the spiritual dilemma faced by people in the process of Urbanization:nowhere to find the free stretch of individual spirit.Through the breakthrough process of individual spirit,it vividly shows that the countryside is certainly the place where the spiritual dilemma exists,but the city is not the place where the spiritual freedom is stretched,and the result of breakthrough is groundless breakthrough.The novel shows the lack of space for the growth of modern thought and the difficulty of construction in the process of urbanization.
