摘要
1459年,贝诺佐·戈佐利受美第奇家族委托,在美第奇-里卡迪宫家族礼拜堂绘制的壁画《伯利恒朝圣之旅》是“博士来拜”题材的变体。画家首次打破了这一题材只强调朝拜圣婴场景的传统,将重点放在对前往伯利恒朝圣之旅的描绘上。这幅华丽宏大作品的创作意图是为了彰显美第奇家族在佛罗伦萨至高无上的领导地位。本文通过对戈佐利的《伯利恒朝圣之旅》做分析,分别从政治、经济、宗教和文化四个方面阐述美第奇家族“王者”身份的构建。
In 1459,Benozzo Gozzoli was commissioned by the House of Medici to paint the mural the Journey of the Magi to Bethlehem in the chapel of the Palazzo Medici-Riccardi,which was a variant of the theme "Adoration of the Magi".The painting,breaking for the first time from the tradition of only highlighting the holy infant worship,focused on depicting the trip to Bethlehem,which demonstrated the supreme leadership of the House of Medici in Florence.Through analyzing the painting,this paper expounds the founding of the Medici Dynasty from the following four aspects:politics,economy,religion and culture.
