Climate change is a threat to everyone throughout the world.China has recognized this threat,and it has taken unprecedented steps to tackle climate change.China aims to have CO_(2) emissions peak before 2030,and to achieve carbon neutrality before 2060,Chinese President Xi Jinping announced,during the general debate of the 75th Session of the United Nations General Assembly,in September 2020.
