现代海图学是传统海图学发展到现代阶段的必然结果。重点探讨了现代海图学的基本概念和学科体系。在介绍海图学发展演进的基础上,提出了现代海图学的概念定义;分析了现代海图学学科的特点,设计了现代海图学的学科体系架构;阐述了现代海图学的专业构成和研究内容,展望了现代海图学学科的发展趋势,为科学规划现代海图学学科建设路径和推动海图学科理论技术发展提供参考。

Modern chart cartography is the necessary result of the traditional chart cartography w hich have developed on the modern stage.This paper mainly studies the fundamental conceptions and discipline system of modern chart cartography. Based on the development and evolution of chart cartography,the conception and definition of modern chart cartography has been suggested,the characteristic intension of modern chart cartography has been analyzed,the discipline system architecture of modern chart cartography has been designed,the subject compositions and research contents has been stated systematically,the development trend of modern chart cartography has been prospected,w hich are intended to provide references for planning the subject route scientifically and developing the theory and technology of modern chart cartography profession.
